The AOD clinician will assist the HOPE team in responding to new referrals in a timely manner, work with consumers and their families and carry out discipline specific duties and assessments. The HOPE team will work in a manner that encourages and invites consumer participation and promotes self-determination. The role includes a component of outreach work, and as such, some weekend and afterhours work will be required.QualificationsRegistration with AHPRAas a Registered Nurse with tertiary qualification in mental health nursing oras a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist oras an Occupational Therapist ora recognized degree in social work with eligibility for registration with Australian Association of Social WorkersMinimum of 5 years post graduate experience including having worked within a community mental health setting.Completed Cert IV in AOD training or higher.Extensive experience in managing client with AOD issues.A current unrestricted Victorian Drivers Licence is essential.What you''ll bringYou''re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
