We are seeking a Temporary City Patrol Officer to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has excellent customer service skills, and is confident in enforcing local regulations.About the Role:Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular city patrols on foot (up to 20km per shift) in all weather conditionsEnforce parking and road regulations under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 and Road Regulations 2009 QLD Road RulesIssue infringements and confidently explain offences to drivers when requiredProvide high-level customer service and handle face-to-face disputes professionally and diplomaticallyPrepare reports and communicate effectively, both written and verbalUse Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for reporting and documentationWork effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbout YouHigh level of physical fitness ability to walk long distances in varying weather conditionsStrong knowledge of road rules and local regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence in issuing infringements and enforcing regulationsCurrent C Class Drivers LicenceFamiliarity with Cairns and its tourist attractionsStrong commitment to safety in all aspects of the roleIf you are a motivated and professional individual who can uphold the integrity of city patrol operations while providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply!About UsWith offices in Cairns and Townsville, Precruitment is Regional Queenslands leading recruitment consultancy, specialising in permanent and temporary roles.
