This involves active listening, understanding their needs, and helping them navigate grief and loss.Assist families facing complex social conditions during pregnancy and postpartum. This may include, mental health issues, or other challenges that require coordinated care.Guide families through the healthcare system, helping them understand procedures, access appointments, and receive necessary care.Advocate for families'' needs and rights within the healthcare setting, ensuring they receive respectful and timely care.Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians, midwives, social workers, Aboriginal Liaison Officers and pastoral care, to provide coordinated care.Provide information and education to families about their options, resources, and the grieving process.May be involved in training other healthcare professionals on perinatal bereavement care and complex care navigation.What you''ll bringYou''re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
