Job Description

Location: ScotlandHours: 12 hoursSalary: Competitive (DOE)As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for:Managing and overseeing daily operations on the site as per the contract drawings and ensuring regular checks are carried outReviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracyEnsuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the Client specificationProviding leadership and addressing any technical challenges that arise on siteCoordinating and conducting pre-start site surveysGuaranteeing a timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and installation teamsMaintaining and enforcing a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on sitePerforming site calibration checksLeading in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on siteTo be successful in this position, you must:Have previous experience managing civil projects, ideally in micro tunnelling and pipe jackingHave a proven track record of overseeing and leading civil engineering projectsPossess a deep understanding of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulationsHold a valid CSCS cardBe flexible with the ability to travel nationwideExhibit excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with the site-based team and clientsHave the skill to work effectively as part of a team and independentlyDemonstrate proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesCompany BackgroundThe Joseph Gallagher Group is a family-owned Civil Engineering business that delivers expertise whilst prioritizing client satisfaction.
