You''ll drive outcomes across cost, quality, schedule, and technical performance while managing cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and quality.Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Manage supply chain relationships and subcontracts across the program, including facilitating integrated teams collaboration, proactively solving issues, managing subcontract change, defining requirements, managing obligations, maintaining records and negotiating new agreementsProvide thought leadership into strategic supplier relationships and approach to teamingDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including the resolution of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs)Support business development and proposal activities through the preparation of subcontract inputs and business case contributionsProvide leadership in subcontractor selection, evaluation, and risk management ensuring adherence to company policies and industry best practicesPromote and uphold company values, safety standards, and quality management systems in all subcontract-related activitiesAbout you:Significant experience in procurement, supply chain and contracts management, within a complex program environment, preferably within DefenceAbility to negotiate and resolve complex issues to achieve commercially sound outcomesDemonstrated experience engaging with diverse range of stakeholders including engineering, commercial, finance, quality, engineering and logisticsFamiliarity with key standards, including AS4360 (Risk Management), ISO9001 (Quality Systems), and AS4817 (Earned Value Management), preferably within a Aerospace contextStrong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applicationsDemonstrated ability to manage and deliver outcomes within scope, timeframes, and budget in complex program environmentsAbout the Program:The AIR 5428 Pilot Training System partners with the Australian Defence Force for development of its military pilot workforce at four operating bases, RAAF Base East Sale, RAAF Base Pearce, RAAF Base Edinburgh, and RAAF Base Williamtown.
