The hospital is a 337-bed facility, with approximately 61,000 emergency presentations, 40,000 inpatients, and 1,650 babies delivered annually. The Emergency Department of this hospital sees an admission rate of 20%, with 25% of all presentations being paediatric. This hospital is the Regional Trauma Referral Centre, supported by 24-hour imaging, pathology, and mental health services.As Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will contribute to the management and provision of clinical excellence and patient-focused care in the ED. You will be supported by multidisciplinary staff specialists and junior doctors on a highly varied and interesting casemix. You will participate in research and quality improvement activities within the department, promoting a culture of continuous education and collaboration.
