This role is also responsible for:Operations & AdministrationCoachingTalent IdentificationStrategyOther Development / Talent ProgramsHigh level responsibilityEstablish appropriate NGA, FSA and FDA support staff structure and oversee appointed staffComplete applications (including obtaining documentation) for all draft concession eligible players as required by the AFL, and ensure AFL rules, procedures and policies are adhered to.Work closely with recruiting and talent pathway clubs, schools and player families (if relevant) to formulate individual development plans and goal setting plans for NGA and FSA/FDA playersIdentify Indigenous, Multicultural, Father Son and Father Daughter players that are draft concession eligible for the Club and maintain extensive databaseStrategically analyse, and present opportunities for innovation, optimisation and expansion of the NGA, FSA and FDA programsSupport wider Club football development / talent programs as required (including, but not limited to, delivery of programs, coaching and operational requirements)Skills And ExperienceAdvanced interpersonal and communication skills, including an openness to have frequent, honest, two-way communicationCompetency in reporting / communication, both in terms of verbal and written presentationIdeally, Level 2 Coaching AccreditationIdeally, Tertiary Qualifications with teaching experience preferredExperience in and ability to manage resources, meet productivity and performance targets, and delivery deadlinesWhats On OfferFlexible working arrangements up to 2 days working remotely opportunityAdditional Work Life Leave - provided to those who are required to work weekendsBirthday Leave - a day of leave available in the week of your birthdayClose to West Footscray Station with free onsite parking availableClub membership - Free access to Western Bulldogs AFL and AFLW home games for you and your familyContinuous learning & development Array of paid and discounted professional training and development opportunities on offerDeals & Discounts with Club corporate sponsors - over 40% in some casesParent friendly Paid Primary and Secondary Carers Leave availableWellbeing focus including - we support our staff to complete a proactive wellbeing plan, access to club gym, wellbeing sessions and activities across the yearHow To ApplySuccessful candidates will be required to hold a valid working with children check and a satisfactory national criminal history check.If you are interested in working in a challenging yet extremely satisfying position, please Apply for this Job & attach your resume and a cover letter outlining your key attributes.
