Temporary role with view to permanentFull time hoursImmediate start - Laverton North$45+ per hourThe Company :Located in Laverton is a market leader in rendering poultry, red meat, and fish by-products into high-performance animal feed ingredient solutions and renewable fuels.The Role :You will be responsible for coordinating and managing international shipments and ensuring compliance with export regulations. Duties include:Coordinate end-to-end export shipping processes for international marketsPrepare, review, and lodge export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, E-Cert/health certificates, and other regulatory paperworkEnsure full compliance with Australian export regulations, DAFF (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry) requirements, and destination country standardsLiaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and government departments to facilitate timely shipmentsMonitor and track shipments, providing proactive updates to customers and internal teamsWork closely with the sales, warehouse, and quality assurance teams to align dispatch schedules and documentationThe Person :2+ years of experience in export logistics, freight forwarding, or international shipping coordinationStrong working knowledge of Australian export regulationsUnderstanding of Incoterms, customs clearance, and international trade complianceProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/logistics software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, CargoWise)Experience in meat, seafood, food exports will be highly desirable but not essentialYou have high attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can manage your own workload.
