3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Your role at St John of God Frankston HospitalWe are looking for a Permanent Full time Grade1/Grade 2 Physiotherapist for our Exercise Rehabilitation Unit.The Grade 1 Physiotherapist works alongside the Multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills.The Grade 2 Physiotherapist is expected to work independently and demonstrate a depth of experience. The Grade 2 Physiotherapist is expected to initiate and participate in teaching, training, research and quality activities, to supervise students and supervise and mentor junior caregivers.Ensures practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines.The PositionProvide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetingsUse of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activitiesParticipate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation.Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required.Accepts responsibility for maintaining and strengthening own professional knowledge and expertise.
