How will you make your mark?About The RoleThis full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic position offers an exciting opportunity to join our high performing maintenance team based in Campbellfield, Victoria. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transport services.What Youll Bring To The TeamFormal trade qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (or related automotive trade) with a minimum of 5 years experience, ideally in a commercial transport or logistics environment.Current HR and forklift licence, with a HC licence also highly regarded.Strong mechanical aptitude, with extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders.How Youll Make a DifferenceQuickly identify and resolve mechanical issues through strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.Maintain a high standard of work, contributing to overall vehicle reliability and safety.Contribute to a culture that values high standards and customer service excellence, enhancing team performance and client satisfaction.Committed to continuous improvement and learning, ensuring the team stays current with best practices and innovative solutions.Why Youll Love Working With Bild GroupAt Bild, we believe in building better togetherthrough teamwork, trust, and respect.
