During your graduate year you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a supportive environment, working closely with your preceptor and the opportunity to participate in professional development activities.Within both our Mental Health and Emergency Departments, Graduate Nurses are encouraged to make the most of the extensive learning opportunities and care for patients with a range of clinical conditions. St Vincents is also committed to the ongoing development of a strong peer support workforceAbout St Vincents Emergency DepartmentThe St Vincents Emergency Department is comprised of a various treatment area where patients are assessed, investigations and treatment are commenced.The Emergency Department is made up of a multidisciplinary team which brings together clinicians from Nursing, Medical, mental health, drug and alcohol, the ED care coordination team, providing specialised care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department with medical, high acuity mental health and AOD issues, and complex psychosocial needs.Working at St VincentsSt Vincents Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is a leading teaching, research and tertiary health service.
