Cavallo Park Stud (Trading) Pty Ltd is currently seeking highly experienced and capable staff to join our team.Positions are full-time and available in Hawkesbury NSW.Horse Trainer/Breeding - ForepersonOverseeing daily care and supervision of horsesEducating and preparing young stock for saleEarly education of foals and weanlingsMonitoring mare ovulation and pregnancyAssisting Veterinarians with ultrasound/reproduction examination including assisting in birthing foals and administering medical treatment to foalsThe salary will be above three occupations will be above award in the range of $75,000 - $77,000 per annum depending upon the skill and level of responsibility.Essential Skills:All applicants must have a minimum of 3-years full time professional experience in the role, or at least 2 years full time highly relevant experience and a relevant qualification.In addition, the following will be required:A Certificate III or equivalent international qualification, or in the absence of a qualification a minimum of three years professional full-time experience educating and training horsesA minimum of two years equivalent full-time experience handling and working with and educating thoroughbred horsesKnowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbreds, including stallions, sales or breedingProven ability to train and educate young horsesOral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction; provide information and advice to others and prepare basic reportsKnowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipmentSound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of horsesPlease send detailed resume listing your horse training experience to accounts@cavallopark.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
