As the Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution for our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) and Identity Fraud Prevention platforms, ensuring millions of customers can securely and effortlessly access Xero and our ecosystem of connected third-party apps.In this role, youll drive innovation in identity, authentication/authorization, and fraud detection, balancing security with a frictionless user experience. Youll shape the future of passwordless authentication, SSO, adaptive security, and AI-driven fraud detection, working closely with engineering, data, and design teams. Join us in building the future of secure digital identity for small businesses.What You''ll Do:Actively network across Xero to understand how products fit into Xero''s strategy and objectives.Work directly with customers to conduct research, collect insights, and validate understanding, supported by the broader product team. Use customer data and insights to assess value and viability risks, informing product roadmap and planning.Define the scope of customer problems and develop possible solutions to test, validate, and refine with relevant team members. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate effectively.Develop a strategy for the product line, including securing funding and resourcing.Participate actively in the annual and quarterly OKR process, with support from product leadership. Manage risks related to security, privacy, regulatory compliance, data use, and availability by consulting stakeholders and leading trade-off decisions.What You''ll Bring With You:Identity Experience: Experience related to customer journeys around user authentication, including MFA, account settings, and SSO.Login: Experience with authentication processes for Xero users across products.MFA: Experience supporting MFA implementations for Xero users, including domain-enforced SSO.SSO: Experience with SSO solutions for medium to large practices, managed IT environments, and social sign-on for small to medium businesses.Stakeholder and relationship management skills, including engagement with large customers, sales, and country teams.Experience working with technical teams to improve sign-up conversion and meet compliance standards.Ability to balance security and user experience to support growth opportunities.Why XeroOffering generous paid leave, mental health support, free medical insurance, wellbeing programs, employee resource groups, 26 weeks of parental leave, employee share plans, flexible working, career development, and more.
