The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will have at least four years experience in a similar position. Position Responsibilities * Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing bookkeeping, payroll processing, and related services * Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Review BAS returns prepared by junior staff, providing feedback and support as needed * Prepare and lodge fortnightly payroll, along with monthly and annual payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations * Prepare end-of-year income statement lodgements for clients * Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare financial statements for client portfolios * Complete bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and data processing * Generate monthly and quarterly client reports using accounting software (Fathom/ Syft) * Provide support and assistance to the Head of Bookkeeping on various projects and initiatives. * Utilise accounting software to prepare management reports for clients * Work in tandem with Client Directors, Senior Managers and Partners and the broader team on projects to drive success for Kelly+Partners * Partake in company events, training sessions as well as team meetings About You * Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role * Experience in a chartered accountancy firm * Possess a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or a Bachelors degree in Accounting. * Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically Xero, MYOB AE, Quickbooks, Nowinfinity, FYI Docs, ATO Smart Docs, Fathom and Syft. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients * Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiasticAbout the companyWe help you manage all your business accounting and financial needs.
