We are currently seeking applications for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager for our plant located in Wodonga.Position Overview:As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing plant operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient production of our BoPP films, meeting quality standards, production targets, and maintaining a strong focus on Safety and Environmental compliance.Key Responsibilities:Production Management:Lead the Operations team to meet production targets and quality standards.Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes.Ensure efficient Maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.Reporting locally and GloballySafety and Compliance:Champion safety initiatives and maintain strong safety culture within the plant.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations.Conduct regular Safety Audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.Quality Assurance:Monitor product quality through the quality management program.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.Address and resolve quality issues promptly.Ensure performance and development of the Operations team, provide coaching and mentoring to achieve team goals.Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Cost Control and Budgeting:Develop and manage the annual operations budget.Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Monitor expenses and implement cost saving measures.About You:Preferably bachelors degree in engineering or related field.Strong Leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem Solving and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of Safety regulations and environmental compliance.Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:What''s the largest size team you have managed?
