The Sales & Business Development Manager for the ANZ market is responsible for developing the business of Mors Smit Power/Industry products: relays, test blocks, arc fault protection systems. This includes visiting potential customers such as CRP panels and switchgear manufacturers, securing approval for Mors Smit products in the Electrical Utilities across the country, and gathering market intelligence about competitors. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge in Protection & Control equipment and applications, understanding of the Electrical market, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused, results-oriented mindset. Where is the position located? Reporting to the Global Sales Director in Spain, the position can be based at our offices in Keysborough, Melbourne, or Rydalmere, Sydney. What will your typical day look like? Responsible for the continued growth of sales within Australia and New Zealand. Visiting customers actively; about 50% of the time should be on the road. Managing the regional team and strengthening relationships with partners to develop the business. Conducting market analysis and maintaining contacts with current and potential clients. Regular customer visits are required. Developing expertise in power system protection, C&R panel scheme engineering, SCADA, and all related Mors Smit products and solutions, with support from the Application department. Understanding client requirements and providing tailored solutions. Submitting technical and economical proposals to customers. Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to inform product development and sales strategies. Managing the approval processes for Mors Smit products in T&D Utilities and relevant stakeholders. What do we want to know about you? Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. At least 3-4 years of experience in Sales and Business Development for Protection & Control products in Power/Industry applications, including account management with Utilities and switchgear manufacturers. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience with RFQs and Tenders. Ability to report clearly and regularly to management; team-oriented. Knowledge of Mors Smit products or similar technologies is a plus. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Willingness to travel across the territory for customer visits.
