You will play a key role in executing people strategies and initiatives that enhance retention, engagement, efficiency, and productivity.The Assistant Director HR acts as a central contact for leaders and department heads, partnering across all business areas to provide coaching, guidance, and support to leadership teams and colleagues.The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel HR functions or similar environments, with confidence in recruitment, employee engagement, training, performance management, HR administration, and compliance within a diverse, guest-centric team.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Portfolio Director HR to implement people strategies supporting hotel operations and service excellence.Serve as a trusted HR contact for department leaders and colleagues.Champion employee engagement and well-being initiatives.Represent the hotel and brand in industry and training partnerships.Support training and development initiatives in collaboration with department heads.Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.What Were Looking For:Full and unrestricted long-term working rights in Australia. No temporary work rights, WHV, or sponsorship available for this role.Minimum 2 years of HR experience at Senior Advisor, HR Business Partner, or Manager level.Experience in the hotel/hospitality industry or similar service-oriented environment highly regarded.Solid knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work, Industry Awards, HIGA, and HR best practices.Strong understanding of performance management, IR, and FWA frameworks.Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the business.Self-starter, highly organized, with strong attention to detail.Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, high-volume, service-oriented environment.Why Join Us?We offer a dynamic work environment where your contributions make an impact.
