Wave are seeking a Manager Sustaining Capital to join our Perth operations, working with our multi-discipline engineering team.Application Deadline: 24th June, 2025Wave International is a resource development firm with over 25 years of global experience in engineering, project delivery, and asset management. As we expand nationally and internationally, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our leadership team.The OpportunityThis role focuses on leading the successful delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects for Tier 1-3 resource companies. As the Manager Sustaining Capital, you will oversee project execution from planning to completion, ensuring effective coordination of engineering resources. Additionally, you will drive business development by identifying opportunities, managing client engagement, and executing strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of brownfields and sustaining capital projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, safety standards, and timelines.Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external contractors to ensure efficient project execution.Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules for cost-effective and timely delivery.Identify and mitigate project risks with proactive solutions to maintain momentum.Support continuous improvement by enhancing project delivery processes and engineering practices.Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Waves strategic goals.Develop proposals, tenders, and RFQs collaboratively with subject matter experts.Build and maintain strong client relationships through site visits and industry events.Negotiate pricing and ensure proposals meet client expectations and profitability targets.Skills & QualificationsTertiary qualification in Engineering from a recognized institution.Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on brownfields and sustaining capital projects from concept to delivery.Strong project management skills, including cost control, scheduling, and risk mitigation.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in proposals and client interactions.Experience in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.Why Join Wave?Be part of a respected leadership team with opportunities for career growth.Contribute to exciting projects across Australia.Work from our modern QV1 office with facilities like:High-class end-of-trip amenitiesWellness Centre (free Yoga, Pilates, etc.)Fully equipped gymRooftop basketball and tennis courtsReady to Make an Impact?If you are a driven professional passionate about engineering excellence and business growth, we would love to hear from you.
