We are never afraid to go against the grain in order to do work that moves people.About the RoleLocated in our Melbourne office, youre a Social Media Manager reporting to the Senior Account Director Social. You will help lead the implementation and support channel & community planning across all social media platforms for one of the agency''s tier one social accounts.What will your day look like...Responsibilities:Social Content Calendar ManagementPlan and maintain detailed social media content calendars for each client and campaign.Ensure calendars align with brand tone, business objectives, and campaign briefs.Schedule posts across platforms using tools like Dash Hudson, Later, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.Coordinate with internal teams to align content deadlines and publishing schedules.Update and adjust calendars in real time to accommodate changes or optimisations.Community ManagementMonitor client social media channels daily for comments, messages, and engagement.Respond to audience interactions in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.Escalate issues or sensitive feedback to the relevant internal or client teams.Help grow community engagement through strategic interaction and conversation.Caption WritingWrite engaging and platform-appropriate copy that aligns with each clients tone of voice.Adapt messaging for various social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to ensure captions support visual content and broader objectives.Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social touchpoints.Reporting & AnalyticsTrack content performance using platform analytics and third-party tools.Create weekly/monthly reports to show engagement, reach, growth, and other KPIs.Interpret data to provide actionable insights and optimisation strategies.Identify trends, content types, or platforms that are performing well or underdelivering.Channel & Campaign ExecutionAct as the day-to-day lead for managing social channels across clients.Ensure timely and accurate posting of approved content.Review posts for alignment with briefs, brand tone, and platform best practices before publishing.Troubleshoot technical or scheduling issues as they arise.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with social creatives to plan and brief in content that meets campaign goals.Collaborate with account service teams to ensure client feedback and objectives are clearly incorporated.Liaise with production to align timelines and deliverables for social contentSocial Creative CustodianEnsure brand elements are reflective of channel best practice, are cohesive and visually engagingReview content layout ahead of scheduling to ensure strategic placement.Understand what makes good content, keen eye for creative aligned to implementationWhat you bringMinimum 2-3 years social media experience in a similar Social Media channel and community role.A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or PR.Channel first knowledge you will be at the forefront of trends, channel updates and the cultural conversations that are happening.Experience of paid media tools to boost content is a benefitPrevious experience of social community leadership both service and engagementExperience of working with social media platforms and scheduling tools such as Dash Hudson, Sprout and SprinklrWhat We OfferA supportive culture focused on collaboration and personal growthA truly integrated agency network that includes research, data, insights, creative, digital, experiential, reputation management, content production, performance, earned media, etc.The opportunity to work on fully integrated campaigns that expand your experience in the marketing and communications landscapeRobust G&D program training throughout the yearHappy Days and Birthday LeaveCulture Club: a calendar of events that connects our team in creative and fun waysCSR leave #J-18808-Ljbffr
