Ideal for an experienced GM ready to advance into an executive leadership position!In this role, you will support the CEO by overseeing service delivery, supervising team leaders, and ensuring cultural security across all service areas.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Acting as CEO when required and representing Centacare Kimberley at stakeholder forumsGuiding and supporting team leaders in delivering quality client servicesMonitoring and evaluating service efficacy and implementing improvement strategiesProviding professional supervision and development support to all staffSupporting the recruitment and onboarding of skilled, culturally sensitive employeesEnsuring compliance with all organisational policies and safety regulationsConducting risk assessments to promote a safe and supportive work environmentDeveloping and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key stakeholdersSupporting the CEO in tendering for new business opportunitiesPromoting culturally appropriate and secure practices across servicesReporting regularly on service activity and outcomes to the CEO and BoardManaging program budgets to align with organisational goalsTo find out more about the position, please review the position description.About YouTo qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in a Social Services field and extensive experience in the delivery of social support services. A minimum of 5 years experience in staff supervision, management, and professional development will also be essential. Additionally, you must have experience working within program guidelines and organisational policies and procedures.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Experience in delivering support services for vulnerable and at-risk groupsStrong understanding of trauma-informed, strength-based, and recovery-focused frameworksKnowledge of cultural, social, and economic challenges facing Aboriginal people in the KimberleyFamiliarity with program tendering processes and service outcome evaluationKnowledge of Industrial Relations, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and Equal Employment Opportunity legislationAs our ideal candidate, you will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to develop professional relationships.
