Add expected salary to your profile for insightsLady Elliot Island Eco Resort is seeking a Maintenance Tradesperson to join our dedicated team on one of the most unique and beautiful islands on the Great Barrier Reef. If youre passionate about sustainability, enjoy working in a remote environment and have trade qualifications in building, mechanical or electrical, wed love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Perform general maintenance duties across the resort facilities, this is a hands on role.Execute daily start-up and shut-down procedures for equipment and facilities.Operate various machinery and power tools effectively and safely.Undertake ad hoc tasks as required to support resort operations.Conduct assigned work with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.Contribute to projects as needed.Skills and Experience Required:Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.Previous experience in hotel/resort maintenance is preferred.Strong commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards.Possession of a Construction White Card and current manual driver''s license.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in using power and hand tools.Previous trade experience or handyman skills are desirable.
