From booking their stay to stepping onto a Cobb & Co stagecoach, it all begins at our booking office and thats where you come in.This is more than just a front-office role. Its your chance to lead a high-performing reservations team, inspire exceptional customer service, and help visitors make the most of their time in the bush. Youll also play a key role in shaping guest experiences by ensuring bookings are handled smoothly, sales opportunities are maximised, and the crew is working as one.What youll be doing:Managing and motivating the reservations team to deliver 5-star customer serviceOverseeing bookings online, over the phone and in personHandling administration, manifests and reporting with accuracy and detailEnsuring every guest is offered the best combination of experiences to enhance their visitLiaising with our operations team so the guest journey runs like clockworkWhat were looking for:Recognised qualifications in tourism, hospitality, business or equivalent experienceProven experience in a reservations or front-office role in travel, tours or accommodationTeam leadership experience (or the attitude and capability to step up!)Strong sales acumen and a customer-first mindsetHigh-level computer skills and familiarity with Rezdy, Newbook, Booking.com and other 3rd-party channels.A sense of humour and a love for working with people!Why Longreach?This is a rare opportunity for someone considering a lifestyle change to regional Queensland.Safe, family-friendly communityAffordable living and strong local spiritSpectacular outback sunsets, wide open spaces and meaningful workThis is a full-time role based in Longreach, working approximately. 38 hours/week, MondaySaturday, with peak season demand from June to September.
