Focussed on ensuring a safe and peaceful environment, SAPOL upholds the law, prevents crime, assists the public, responds to emergencies and delivers crime reduction programs to minimise crime and disorder across our State.Accountable to the Director, Program Delivery, the opportunity is now available for an experienced Program Director, Digital Services Portfolio to support SAPOLs Technology Enabled Policing strategy. Collaborating with executive staff and key stakeholders, the Program Director will design and deliver successful digital program activities across a wide-ranging portfolio, providing strategic program management and ensuring the successful ongoing operation and continued achievement of strategic digital outcomes for the organisation.Leading a highly effective team, you will ensure the successful integration of all programs of work, managing procurement strategies, negotiations and third party suppliers in the establishment of programs under a sustainable operational model focussed on security and human centred design. Working alongside the Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) operational support team, you will monitor and report program progress and ensure their alignment and seamless integration across the IS&T portfolio.This position demands an innovative, solutions-focussed and strategic professional with a demonstrable track record in leading and implementing simultaneous ICT programs and projects across large or complex organisations. You will have the ability to manage and negotiate demand and business requirements from end users in order to deliver strategic portfolio outcomes, whilst leading program teams with vision, clarity and foresight. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collate, review and present information to ICT and non-ICT stakeholders will be key to your success.A tertiary qualification in project management, technology, business, finance or management information systems or equivalent experience, and the ability to forge successful collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and lead and mentor diverse teams in the delivery of positive organisational outcomes will be key to success in this role.
