$30.00 - $41.00 p.h. + penalty rates + superAsphalt Production Plant OperatorSuncoast Asphalt is seeking an experienced Asphalt Production Plant Operator, based out of our Asphalt Plant in Narangba, one of Brisbane''s northern suburbs. As an Asphalt Production Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our asphalt production plant. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of asphalt products for our construction projects and customers.In your new role with us, you will:Operating and controlling asphalt plant machinery and equipmentMonitoring and adjusting production process to meet quality standardsPerforming routine maintenance and repairs on the plant equipmentConducting inspections and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulationsCollaborating with the production team to coordinate daily operations and optimise productivityTroubleshooting equipment malfunctions and resolving operational issuesMaintaining accurate records of production and equipment maintenance activitiesAdhering to company policies, including safety protocolsThis role is a great fit for you if you:Previous experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator or similar roleUnderstanding of asphalt production processes & equipmentFamiliarity with plant control systems and computerized equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial settingAbility to work effectively as a part of a team and independentlyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to producing high quality resultsFlexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and nights if requiredValid drivers'' licence and reliable transportationTickets/experience on plant machinery such as front-end loaders/forkliftsAbility to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol ScreeningWhat we offer:Between $30.00 - $41.00 p/hour, pending experience, plus penalty rates and allowances and plus superWorking hours are generally Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm with optional Saturday work - may change pending work volumesUniform and PPEOngoing career and development opportunitiesIf you are interested in joining our dynamic team as an Asphalt Plant Operator, please apply now!Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchRECYCLING, ASPHALT AND INDUSTRIAL SERVICESAlex Fraser is Australias leading producer of sustainable materials for the civil construction industry.
