Hotel Brand: Crowne Plaza Hotels & ResortsLocation: Australia, South Australia, AdelaideYour day-to-dayRun the daily Conference & Events operations and assist across the restaurant, bars, and room service as required.Train colleagues in quality and service standards, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform and are empowered to execute in their roles.Ensure hotel services colleagues provide guests with prompt service, professional attention, and personal recognition.Greet guests upon arrival, interact effectively, respond to complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to improve guest satisfaction.Support the Food & Beverage Management team in:Planning for future staffing needs and completing all stages of IHG Recruitment onboarding.Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination.Supporting the team, driving performance, and executing projects.Drive team performance related to soft skills and key metrics, focusing on Guest Love, Problem Handling, and colleague engagement.Manage payroll, costs, inventory, and stock control, including conducting monthly stock takes accurately.Ensure the security and proper storage of food, beverage, inventory, and equipment, replenishing supplies efficiently while minimizing waste.Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of food and beverage facilities and equipment, notifying engineering of maintenance needs.Handle credit and financial transactions securely.Ensure departmental compliance with CSA, security procedures, and inventory control.Achieve quality and guest satisfaction HeartBeat goals, responding courteously to guest inquiries and complaints.Monitor IHG metric tools and audits to ensure guest satisfaction and hotel compliance.Wear and maintain PPE as required by WH&S procedures.Adhere to policies concerning the Trade Practices Act, Gifts and Bribery, and Data Privacy, especially regarding credit policies.Identify and report hazards, evaluate risks, and implement control measures, including investigating injuries and recommending corrective actions.Demonstrate awareness of Crisis Management, HACCP, & WH&S policies, ensuring proper record keeping.Support front office, housekeeping, and engineering functions as needed.What we need from youMinimum 12 months experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant & Bars position, preferably within a hotel/hospitality environment, with experience in leading and supporting a team.Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Food & Beverage preferred.Flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.A team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads.Ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm, and positivity to drive an engaged, winning culture.Don''t quite meet every single requirement, but still believe you''d be a great fit for the job?
