If you enjoy venturing through amazing scenery and have passion for learning more about traditional Aboriginal culture, this could be the job for you!To get an insight into the Pilbara region clickhere andhere to see what the region has to offer.The OpportunityAs the CSU4, Team Manager Child Safety, you will work in the areas of child protection, children in care and family support and is responsible for:Contributing to the planning and management of District activities and promotes sound innovative and responsible casework and community work practice.Managing team resources, assign tasks and ensures equitable distribution of workload within the team.Quality assurance and quality improvement functions within a team and provides reports.Supervising and supports team members and liaises with other team leaders, Senior Practice Development Officer and Senior Advisors to ensure sound practice standards and provides learning and development opportunities for the team.Convening and chairs planning forums.As the CSQ3, Team Leader Child Safety, you will work in the areas of child protection, children in care and family support and is responsible for:managing a District team and responding to concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of children in applying the provisions of the Children and Community Services Act 2004,supervising team members in child protection case work matters and where necessary, oversees Case Workers in taking intervention action to promote the safety and wellbeing of children,supervising team members in providing case work services to identified families and children in the care of the CEO,The attached Job Description Form (JDF) provides more information about the position.
