We are a team of committed educators and support personnel who fundamentally believe that students learn best when they feel safe, respected, and are genuinely engaged and challenged by purposeful, creative, differentiated opportunities to learn about themselves and the impact they can make in the world they live in.The roleWe are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic Secondary Sports Coordinator to lead our sport, physical education programs, and other co-curricular activities. The Sports Coordinator ensures that a comprehensive co-curricular program is made available to students reflecting their interests and abilities. The role involves managing events, teams, equipment, and staff, while promoting student participation and enjoyment in sport and other College activities.This is a teaching position with a Position of Added Responsibility (PAR) for a Term 3, 2025 start.Motivated and experienced applicants will :Have completed a Bachelors degree in a related subjectBring expertise in sports education and co-curricular activities, with experience in administration, coaching, and event coordinationDemonstrate strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skillsHave experience managing budgets and working collaboratively in a team environmentStay current with curriculum developments in sport and recreationCommunicate effectively with students, staff, families, and the wider communityHold a current Queensland Teacher RegistrationBe eligible to work in AustraliaFaith Based AttributesCommitted Christian with current church involvementAscribe to the Statement of Faith and the College valuesA high standard of personal conduct, integrity, and an outworking of spiritual fruit.For further information about the Sports Coordinator role or to request a Role Description, please contact Human Resources on 07 5436 6777.Applications: To apply for this position, please complete the application form found on our website (link below).
