Various rolls including full time or part timeFixed Term 3-month position at the City of BallaratBand 4 Salary from $34.46 per hour plus superThe City of Ballarat is looking for Customer Service Officers to support the rollout of the incoming Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) and Glass kerbside recycling services to residents.The RoleThe role supports the Waste and Environment team by responding to customers kerbside waste and recycling services related requests via a range of channels including phone, electronic and face-to-face.About YouThe successful candidate will require exceptional interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, have a great attention to detail and a proven ability to build strong relationships.You will be a positive, dedicated, and professional individual with a passion for providing great customer experiences.Most importantly, you will have a strong sense community and a passion for supporting all customers of the City of Ballarat.Key Selection CrietriaDemonstrated knowledge of the principles and practice of customer service and/or call centre environmentsDemonstrated ability to display empathic listening skills and a high level of written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantageDemonstrated ability to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the City of Ballarats incoming FOGO and Glass kerbside services, and sound level of competence in the operation of Windows-based programs and other relevant systemsKnowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work areaTo ApplyTo apply for this position please click on the Apply button and submit your application.
