As we continue to expand both our golfing and social memberships, we are revitalising our hospitality offerings to meet the needs of a broader, more engaged member base. Our clubhouse is transforming into a vibrant destination for members and guests, not just for golf but for dining, events, and social experiences.To support this vision, we are seeking a committed and capable Food & Beverage Manager to lead our clubhouse service operations and help drive the next phase of our hospitality strategy.The RoleThis is a hands-on management role initially focused on bar operations, with future scope to include restaurant oversight as our food and beverage services grow. The Food & Beverage Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the clubhouse hospitality team, customer experience, and membership engagement.A key expectation of the role is to actively contribute to the growth of our social (house) membership base, ensuring the clubhouse is a welcoming and vibrant environment that encourages ongoing participation and new sign-ups.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of the bar and clubhouse serviceSupervise and train bar staff to ensure high service standardsMaintain venue presentation and compliance with all relevant legislation (including RSA)Manage stock ordering, supplier relations, and inventory controlHandle POS systems, cash management, and staffing rostersAssist with the planning and delivery of social events and member functionsPromote and enhance the clubhouse experience to drive house membership growthReport directly to the General Manager, maintaining a clear and professional management structurePrepare to take on increased responsibility as the clubs food and beverage offering expands to include restaurant operationsAbout YouYou are an organised, energetic, and service-focused hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a desire to grow with the role.
