The role in Fleet Services is to provide specialised senior contract administration services to drive high performing contracted services in relation to Fleet Contracts and Administration while leading the Fleet Administration Team on the establishment of systems, practices and work instructions contributing to development of the team environment.We are looking for a candidate who is a great team fit and will contribute positively to Councils Fleet Services Team,Key Responsibilities Will IncludeProvide specialised senior contract administration services, adhering to Councils Procurement and Contracting Framework, to drive high performing contracted services in relation to the responsibilities of the Fleet Contracts and Administration team.Providing leadership, operational backup and support to the Fleet Administration Team through coaching, mentoring, advice and assistance.Application administrator for Fleet related systems used for vehicle monitoring, asset records and vehicle bookings. by maintaining information for currency, undertaking regular data analysis and providing proactive reporting and improvements.Actively lead business development, planning and improvement activities through the analysis and review of existing services, policies, procedures and systems to identify service delivery improvements and develop alternate approaches.About YouAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree such as a Bachelor of Business, Business Administration and substantial relevant experience or equivalent.You will have senior contracts administration knowledge and experience of Procurement and Contract Management strategies / processes for the initiation, negotiation and establishment of and administration of a range of contracted agreements.Pivotal to this position is your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with particular emphasis in the areas of building effective relationships, consultation, negotiation, conflict resolution and assertiveness in order to resolve issues and meet changing organisational needs.You will have strong leadership skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to establishing and maintaining standards of compliance to organisational Policies and Procedures and ability to promote an organisational culture reflective of Councils corporate value.Our Culture & Employee BenefitsBenefitsCouncil is committed to creating an inclusive, culturally diverse, healthy, skilled and dedicated workplace culture.
