As part of our Regulatory Design and Practice team you will work closely with regulators to design, deliver, evaluate and improve their service offer across the full regulatory lifecycle.Proximity sees the opportunities others miss. Were passionate about the work we achieve together, we champion each other, our clients, and our communities.Some of the responsibilities could include:Interpreting, mapping and reviewing legislation and regulatory regimesDesigning and coordinating regulatory and compliance frameworksUndertaking business process mapping to design, develop or improve regulatory processesUndertaking reviews of emerging issues in regulatory domainsDesigning and implementing risk-based approachesMonitoring and reporting on compliance and enforcement activitiesDrafting client reports, briefings, policies, and proceduresCulture mattersWere looking for people who live our Values. Work through ambiguity or uncertaintyTo succeed in this role, you will have:2+ years experience, preferably within a government or consulting environmentDemonstrated experience across the regulatory lifecycle (including policy development, compliance, enforcement, review etc.)Demonstrated experience in one or more of Proximitys other consulting service offeringsDemonstrated ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong verbal, written, and visual presentation skillsDesire to work closely with clients, being adaptable and responsiveAustralian Government Baseline Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one)Experience working with legislation and regulatory policy as a lawyer, senior policy officer, economist or consultantThe Proximity differenceWe believe work should be a positive part of your life.
