You will lead the development of priority strategies and business plans, working collaboratively across the enterprise. This includes bringing in external insights, evaluating and advising on external trends, and transforming our strategic intent into tangible initiatives through strategy pathways, corporate plans, and business plans.Relationship building is key to this role. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders, government and external partners, to ensure GWW is a sought after and respected participant in the development of key Government policies, strategies, and plans.If you are looking to make a difference and contribute to GWWs vision of being an exceptional service provider that puts customers first and benefits the community, apply today!ResponsibilitiesLead components of strategy implementation pathway development in collaboration with the business and ensure they are fit-for purposeContribute to the development of the Annual Board Strategy Day setting the strategic direction for the year aheadEvaluate and be a trusted advisor regarding emerging policy expectations and regulatory reform relevant to GWWScan for external insights on emerging issues and highlight key trends and insights that impact GWWs strategic directionSkills & ExperienceA tertiary qualification in a related disciplineInvolvement in driving strategic intent into action including the implementation of innovative outcomes that provide business valueOutstanding people and stakeholder engagement skills complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to influence decision making and actionHaving a curious mindset with experience in working with diverse data points and information, combined with the ability to identify trends, insights and draw out recommendations around risk, opportunities, and actionsExperience in strategy or policy development within the water, utilities, research, or government sector would be highly regardedSee yourself thrive!Our vision for GWW is Thriving People and Country.
