Well give you the freedom to shape the role and make it your own, supported by a team focused on creating safer workplaces every day.What You Will Do:Deliver the Annual OHS Plan in line with Essitys Health & Safety StrategyLead initiatives to reduce critical safety risksSupport risk assessments and incident investigations with practical, long-term solutionsManage internal audits to meet OHSMS, regulatory, and ISO 45001 standardsDrive the I Care Leadership Program to embed a strong safety cultureCoach and influence others to make safety a shared priorityReport on safety data and KPIs, providing insights for improvementUse data to reduce injuries, ensure compliance, and lift safety standardsMaintain and improve OHS procedures to meet legal and best practice standardsBenchmark safety practices against industry standards to drive excellenceWho You Are:You bring at least five years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on OHS management. A thorough understanding of Victorian OHS legislation, WorkSafe expectations, and regulatory compliance frameworks is essential. Heres what youll bring:Practical experience managing OHS systems and safety protocols, ideally in manufacturing or logistics settingsExpertise in internal audits and maintaining ISO 45001 certificationStrong Excel skills to analyze safety data and generate actionable insightsProven ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams to prioritize safety and take ownershipSharp analytical thinking to identify trends, anticipate risks, and drive preventive measuresClear and confident communication skills to engage stakeholders in safety initiativesA Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent hands-on experience in OHS rolesHolding an OHS Auditor Certification would be a plus, helping you assess safety systems and ensure compliance.
