A casual opportunity is also available for those seeking flexibility or a pathway into hospital pharmacy. You will be supported by an organisation deeply committed to creating learning pathways and development opportunities for all individuals within the team.Previous hospital experience is well-regarded but not essential, as hands-on training will be provided.Key Responsibilities:In this role you will manage the clinical workload of your assigned wards. You will be responsible for:Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliationDispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy productsCoordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and dischargeDeveloping and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patientsSupporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employeesEducating and advising patients, doctors and nurses on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the quality use of medicinesPlease be sure to indicate your availability and preference of full-time or casual positions when submitting your application.The clinical pharmacy service at Richmond operates Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.00pm.
