The OpportunityJoining the team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital as a Nurse Unit Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational management of our acute Surgical Ward comprising of General, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Gynaecology and Paediatric Surgical specialties.Reporting to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services - Surgical, the successful candidate will supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes with the ability to manage financial and human resources.This key leadership role will see you:Apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing and evaluating patient careEffectively manage roster processes and allocate duties to clinical staffWork with and support other managers within the wider hospital community in achieving excellence in patient outcomesAssist in shaping organisational strategy, improve procedural service provision and achieve departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced NUM or a senior nurse looking to take the next step in your career!Your Skills And ExperienceYou are a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of client care and service.
