This role offers the opportunity to influence NSW strategy, streamline operations, and build a strong commercial future for the region.About the opportunityThis role is responsible for leading the NSW operations across sales, operations, finance, and Operational Health and Safety. You will have direct oversight of around 16 employees, including managers in each department, with a strong emphasis on hands-on leadership, business performance and operational efficiency.In this role, you will:Coach, mentor and develop direct reportsImplement strategies to meet revenue, profitability and margin targetsLead OH&S audits, compliance, and stock control activitiesIdentify areas for cost savings and operational efficiencyManage all aspects of reporting, including P&L and business KPIsTo meet these objectives, you will drive high-performing leadership, monitor financial performance, and lead initiatives that improve cost, productivity and revenue. Your employment journey includes comprehensive onboarding, structured support from the General Manager, and the chance to propose projects with ROI for future growth and development.About youYou will be a commercially minded operational leader, ideally with a background in manufacturing, trades, distribution, or steel. You will bring strong team leadership experience and have managed teams across multiple departments.To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Full P&L responsibility and financial reporting experienceA background in overseeing multi-disciplinary teamsA proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing leadersAn understanding of compliance, OH&S and operational controlExperience in cost control, stock management, and procurementA valid drivers licence and willingness to undergo a medical check and police clearanceWhats on offerThis is a long-term opportunity to shape the NSW business while working closely with an experienced General Manager.
