May Shaw Health Centre adopts a community minded approach at its Aged Care services in Swansea, St Helens and Scottsdale complimented by our Aged Care facilities in Swansea and Scottsdale providing a continuum of care to our local communities.May Shaw Health Centre Inc. adopts a community minded approach at its provision of health, aged and home care services.Our Swansea site incorporates a 50 bed Residential Aged Care Facility, 18 independent living units, an Urgent Care Centre, 3 sub-acute beds and a variety of Home Care packages and services. Our Scottsdale site incorporates a 61 bed Residential Aged Care Facility and a variety of Home Care packages and services.Position PurposeThe purpose of this role is to assist, develop and coordinate the full suite of human resource management (HRM) - from hire to retire - with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.Key AccountabilitiesGeneralist HR administration across the full cycle of human resource management (from hire to retire) with a focus on recruitment and onboarding complianceMaintenance of systems and processesAccurately and diligently maintain employee recordsAdminister human resources reporting requirementsAdministration support to Director People and Culture with projects within required timeframesAdminister all HR forms, templates and standard lettersProficient and accurate maintenance of systems and processes pertaining to human resourcesAssist in process and system improvements for efficient and effective human resources administrationProvide efficient and accurate administration support as directed and requiredKey Selection CriteriaSuccessful completion of senior secondary education (further education related to the role responsibilities is desirable but not essential)General understanding of human resource management (HRM), from hire to retire, with the ability to translate best practice knowledge into effective HRM practicesAbility to learn and develop competence in new systems (HR, payroll, learning, etc) and competence with the MS Office suite, including excelGeneral understanding of employment law, enterprise agreements, and HR complianceAttention to detail and consistent application of controls and checks to ensure accuracyWell-developed written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal ability to develop rapport and build professional relationships with a range of stakeholders (internal/external)Sensitive and confidential toward all HR enquiriesWell-developed organisational and time management skills and the ability to proactively identify and meet expectations in a timely manner.Able to show initiative and work independently as part of a small team, proactively discussing matters with Director People and Culture to resolve issues quicklyDemonstrated ability to undertake research, assess findings, draw conclusions and report.Compliance RequirementsOccasional travel across sites to maintain relationships with key stakeholdersProvision of a satisfactory National Police CheckProvision of a satisfactory preemployment medical reportCurrent Flu Vaccination or preparedness to attain suchCulture and BenefitsOur Vision is to support our communities to celebrate life in every stage.
