We have an ambitious new Strategic Vision and we need the best players on our team to help us deliver real results for the sporting sector and all Australians.Are you up for the challenge?About the team The Management Accounting and Finance Strategy Branch ensures the integrity of ASCs internal and external budget allocations and financial position by providing strategic budgeting and financial reporting advice and robust analysis to support financial accountability and sustainability and informed decision making.About the role This position identifies, evaluates, and partners with the business to implement strategic initiatives to support financial sustainability. Additionally, the role drives operational efficiency, value creation, and informed decision-making through the delivery of robust financial modelling and high-quality insights.About you The successful candidate will have:Extensive experience in an Australian government entity managing financial operations, externalbudgets including developing complex, high value new policy proposals, and management reportingand analysis.Experience in managing financial resources, internal budgeting and forecasting, risk management,business planning and finance strategy development, at strategic and operational levels.Strong financial modelling and analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate itDemonstrated capacity to provide timely, compelling and concise reporting and advice to informExecutive members and other key stakeholders to support decision making.Ability to work under limited direction with autonomy and accountability with assigned activities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levelsof the ASC and build strong, collaborative and effective working relationships with seniorThis position is offered as an ongoing position.Why work with us?We have offices located in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.
