Buderim Mountain State School is seeking an Administration Officer for Information Communication Technologies (ICT).In this role, you will support the School Technician, Deputy Principal, and Business Manager with ICT-related administration.Responsibilities may include general corporate services or specific ICT tasks, along with identifying process improvements to enhance ICT service delivery across the school.About The SchoolBuderim Mountain State School is a high-performing and community-focused school on the Sunshine Coast, known for its strong academic results and commitment to student wellbeing. With a long-standing reputation for excellence and a culture that values collaboration and family involvement, Buderim Mountain offers an exceptional environment for professional growth and meaningful teaching.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Scheduling and managing ICT maintenance requests and activities.Implementing and monitoring process and policy for the issuing of school devices to students and staff for hire. Oversee device hire activities including liaison with parents and teachers, and development of hire agreements for approval by the Deputy Principal.Under the direction of the Business Manager, support capital works projects and arrange the coordination of minor works (including ICT projects).Management of Work Area Access Permits (WAAP) for all contractors on school grounds working on ICT related projects.Assist with the day-to-day management of the school''s ICT financial activities, including identifying problems, negotiating with program managers, conducting research, seeking advice and recommending solutions.Provide a range of financial administrative activities and operations including data entry, maintenance of financial registers (including the purchasing of ICT resources) in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.Under the direction of the Business Manager, assist with regular budget reviews and assist the Deputy Principal with ICT budget and purchasing information.Assist the Deputy Principal with the day-to-day supervision and management of the school ICT technician by providing support, prioritising tasks, sharing learning and demonstrating personal integrity.Assist the Business Manager with the management and coordination of ICT resources, asset management and facilities, including regular stock takes, setting up new devices, managing CFTs, scheduling and managing maintenance activities, conducting inspections to ensure ICT facilities and resources comply with all security and safety requirements for all users.Assist the Deputy Principal with on-boarding new staff and maintaining existing staff to the department''s IT systems (iRegister management, OneSchool, MIS administrator, SMS4Schools and Sharepoint management) and to manage and on-board new students and staff to the school''s BYOD program in Years 5 and 6 (Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, InTune).Assist the Principal with updating and maintaining the school''s website, OneSchool management, electronic sign and provide a range of administrative assistance (including whole school mail merge processes, calendar updates and maintenance of the staff Sharepoint).
