We act for humanity.The opportunityThe Senior Manager Community Programs leads a number of Red Cross community programs that support clients to maintain social connectedness, independence, improve health and wellbeing outcomes.The position is accountable for ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to our clients, communities and consumers, compliance with standards and legislation, operational performance, and financial sustainability.This role is a member of the Senior Leadership team, demonstrating our constructive culture, supporting high performance teams, coaching and guiding our employees, volunteers and members.What you will bringProven track record as an effective leader, supporting and building positive and constructive relationships within teamsDemonstrated high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including an ability to influence and build rapport across a range of teams and departments catering for diversity within the teamSubstantial experience in managing change, identifying and adopting new ways of working, and negotiating on matters of significance to assist in securing the cooperation of key stakeholders.Experience and deep understanding of the community care sectorWorking with children checkAustralian Drivers licenceWhy work with us?Work for purpose, know that the work you do enables Red Cross to support and empower people and communities in times of vulnerability.Red Cross respects, values and encourages diversity.
