Due to high demand, we are seeking an endorsed midwife or a midwife working towards endorsement. Hours and salary are negotiable, with a caseload of 2-4 clients per month.Coast Life Midwifery (CLM) is seeking passionate midwives for our innovative private practice model focused on building relationships with women and promoting midwives'' work-life balance. We provide continuity of care for women choosing to birth at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) with their CLM midwife or at home.Women may choose to birth at home with their private CLM midwife, knowing that if hospital support is needed at SCUH at any stage, their midwife will continue to provide care in the hospital and support throughout.We have a strong collaborative relationship with SCUH and ongoing support from their Obstetric and Midwifery team for this exceptional model of care.All midwives will be supported during their transition into private midwifery practice by the entire CLM team.This position offers an annual salary ranging from $94,000 to $122,000 (including caseload loading) plus superannuation, with 6 weeks paid annual leave.
