SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW ROLE WILL ENTAIL Full details will be provided at the client interview but will include: Ensuring timely and favourable settlement of claims Keeping clients informed of the status of claims in a timely manner liaising with underwriters, assessors, legal advisers to achieve settlement Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and industry codes Using claim settlement as a marketing tool Developing and maintaining an appropriate knowledge of insurance Keeping management and others informed appropriately about work Leading, motivating, counseling, and assisting with staff development Using personal effectiveness techniques at a level appropriate to the position Performing any and all other duties as required WHO YOULL BE WORKING WITH Reports to the Claims Manager and works with a friendly, efficient team. VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE You will need some exposure to motor (both heavy & light), property (including Landlord & Farm), liability, marine transit & travel.
