In this critical role, you will directly influence the wellbeing and connectedness of the people who live and work within Arcares residences.About the RoleAs Chief People Officer, you will provide strategic counsel to the CEO and Executive, lead a high-performing People & Culture team, and champion initiatives that bring our values and relationship-centred philosophy to life. You will drive cultural alignment, enable business growth, build leadership capability, and create an environment where people can thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesShape and implement Arcares People & Culture strategy to support business growth and alignment with our Relationship-First modelGuide strategic workforce planning, talent attraction and retention, digital capability uplift, and the delivery of a compelling employee value propositionLead and coach a team of P&C professionals across recruitment, learning and development, workplace relations, business partnering and work, health and safetyUse people analytics and workforce insights to support executive decision-making and drive operational outcomesSupport operational leaders through transformation, performance, and changeFoster inclusion, engagement and a respectful, supportive workplace cultureRepresent Arcare in EBA negotiations and manage complex IR/ER matters with integrity and confidenceAbout YouYou are a senior HR executive with experience leading people functions in large, complex organisations. You bring clarity, empathy and strategic thinking and you know how to mobilise people around purpose and values. You also bring:Extensive experience leading a national HR function, ideally in aged care, health, or a similarly complex sectorDeep knowledge of IR/ER, WHS, compliance, workforce planning, and organisational designThe ability to translate insight into action and culture into a business advantageSound understanding of employment legislation across VIC, NSW, ACT and QLDA values-led leadership style that aligns with Arcares focus on relationships and individual uniquenessRelevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related disciplineApply NowIt really is our people and culture that set us apart, with our ongoing focus of working together as one team.
