This is your chance to make an unparalleled difference in paediatric healthcare, working for an organisation driven by an exciting and ambitious strategy and vision.About the roleThe CIO is a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for maximising the impact and reach of the Foundations grants program. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CIO will provide strategic leadership and operational excellence to ensure grants align with and advance the Foundations mission.Leading a small, high-performing, and experienced Grants team, the CIO will drive high-impact grant making and foster strong external partnerships. As a key internal leader, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Board, and cross-functional teams to support the Foundations growth and funding goals, ensuring investments deliver measurable, world-class outcomes in childrens healthcare.Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership as part of the Executive team, driving the Foundations grants program aligned with the 2030 Vision. Lead and develop a high-performing Grants team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across healthcare, research, government, and funding bodies. Oversee the grant review and recommendation process, ensuring rigorous impact measurement and governance. Collaborate with the Board, Scientific Advisory Committee, and internal teams to support growth and funding objectives. Ensure grants deliver measurable, world-class outcomes that advance the Foundations mission in childrens healthcare.About YouYou are an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience in strategic grant making within healthcare settings. You excel at building organisational capacity, leading high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your proven ability to manage complex partnerships and engage diverse senior stakeholders enables you to deliver measurable, impactful outcomes. You think strategically, communicate effectively across all levels, and approach challenges with integrity and innovation.
