Swick Mining Services are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle (LV) Fitter to join our Maintenance team in a Field Service capacity, at multiple sites within Western Australia; on a Permanent, Full-time basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster.The RoleDuties are (but not limited to) the following:Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on light vehicles and trailers;Ensuring statutory servicing and testing is completed, service literature is recorded and forwarded for storing;Carry out servicing in the field including surface, underground and Perth based workshops;Carry out trouble shooting and fault finding in the field including surface, underground and Perth workshops;Communication with both operations and external customers;Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed off by relevant parties;Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock; andDaily report completion and submission in a timely manner.The CandidateThe successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:3 - 5 years experience in a similar role working with a fleet of light vehicles including Landcruiser, Hilux, Ranger, HiAce buses and Isuzu 4x4.Current manual C Class Driver License or higherRecent National Police Clearance (within 3 months)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screeningAbility to work with minimal supervision and within a team environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and time managementThe BenefitsAcross our entire business, our people come first.
