This role drives the Funds expansion by identifying and securing new employer default fund partnerships, leading a high-performing team, and unlocking new growth opportunities. With a sharp focuson delivering to the growth strategy, results and relationships, this role plays a pivotal part in accelerating Hostplus presence in the market and delivering long-term value to members.Some Key Responsibilities:Lead and evolveHostplus national wholesale business growth strategy, ensuring alignment with proven sales methodologies and market trends.Drive new employer default fund partnerships, with a focus on large-scale, high-value opportunities.Identify and developnew market segments and strategic growth initiatives to expand Hostplus footprint.Manage a robust pipelineof prospective employers, ensuring consistent engagement and conversion.Oversee and contributeto high-quality M&A submissions, RFPs, tenders, and business development collateral.Build and maintain relationshipswith key tender managers, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers to unlock new business opportunities.Represent Hostplusat industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.Collaborate cross-functionallywith internal teams to support product distribution and client onboarding.Deliver strategic insightsthrough regular reporting, forecasting, and analysis using CRM and market intelligence tools.Lead, coach, and inspirethe Business Growth team to achieve performance targets, foster innovation, and uphold Hostplus values.About youProven success in wholesale business development and market expansion.Strong leadership in competitive sales environments.Deep expertisein superannuation, investment, and insurance products, with a strong understanding of their application in corporate and industrial settings.Hands-on experiencewith CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics), and a data-driven approach to managing client relationships.Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a talent for crafting compelling tenders, proposals, and business development collateral.Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, paired with sharpstrategic andanalytical thinking and commercial acumen.A solid grasp ofregulatory frameworksincluding ASIC, APRA, and ATO requirements, and the ability to navigate compliance with confidence.Relevant tertiary qualifications(preferred) andRG146 Accreditation(essential).What can we offer you?Our employees are passionate about what we do and are proud to be part of an organisation which helps everyday Australians achieve a brighter future.
