As the Senior Warehouse Specialist you will be primarily responsible for ensuring warehouse inventory is effectively managed within the groups governance framework whilst meeting the operational needs of our Australian projects. Additionally, this role will drive a hands-on approach to warehouse process and service level improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the warehouse management system is utilised effectively on all sites to ensure consistency and transparency across the business and records are maintained accurately.Governance of warehousing processes to ensure Thiess Operations are alignedRegular and adhoc reporting to monitor and improve warehouse performanceOngoing warehouse procedure and systems trainingMonitoring of warehouse stocktake requirements, ensuring governance and process compliance.Coordinate warehouse mobilisation and demobilisation tasksSupport continuous improvement projects and provide technical knowledge to support warehouse operations.Support warehouse operations reviews and audits.About YouA qualification in supply chain, preferably in inventory or warehousingExtensive Inventory and warehouse management experienceExperience in asset maintenance warehousing and inventory management processesProficiency in Excel and inventory management softwareListens and communicates clearly to influence stakeholders (verbally and in writing).Ability to travel to site as required to lead Warehouse improvements and support requirementsAn unrstricted C class drivers licenceWhat Thiess Can Do for YouWorld-class health & wellbeing programsSalary sacrifice optionsA range of corporate discounts, including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail productsReferral bonus programAbout UsAt Thiess, we partner with our clients to deliver excellence in open cut and underground mining in Australia, Asia and the Americas.
