Their primary purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Groups risk management, controls and governance processes.Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the largest business in CBA, delivering a seamless banking experience to more than 10 million personal and small business customers, helping them at all stages of their lives whether its opening their first account, saving for a wedding, buying their first home, or planning for their retirement. The next phase of our transformation is enabling continuous, data driven assurance across the 3LoA.Do work that mattersThis role is to support the Senior Audit Manager and Executive Manager in delivering quality audits.The GA&A RBS team adds value to the Group by:Delivering a professional and highly valued audit service to the business and Groups Audit & Risk CommitteesProviding objective assurance on risk management to key customers (e.g. Group Executives and their leadership teams) to secure the financial wellbeing of the Banks customersIdentifying issues and commercial insights as part of high-quality audit reports, which improve customers banking experience.Developing and implementing global best technologies (data, analytics and AI) in its assurance delivery, increasing efficiencies.This is a 12-month term contract role, with potential for a permanent role.Were interested in hearing from people who will aspire toIn line with CBA Internal Audit Methodology build, review and deliver effective and efficient assurance of the Retail Banking Services portfolioEffectively support, supervise and deliver assigned scope areas of the audit from Planning, Fieldwork, Reporting, and through to audit closure including administration of key audit stage-gates in the audit electronic workflow systemSolve problems by applying innovative thinking and actively participate in processes to capture and act on innovation ideas, which improve the way we workDraft issues and agree factual accuracy and ratings with the Team Leader and the stakeholders, as well support the Team Leader in preparing simple, pragmatic and easy to read audit reporting, including audit reports and issue logsCreate and develop independent and objective relationships within GA&A, the bank and externally to enable effective knowledge sharing and collaborationOther qualities you may possess includePrior experience in an Internal Audit or Credit Risk Management (Line 1 or Line 2), focusing on Retail BankingAbility to demonstrate a strong understanding of the key inherent risks and the end-to-end control environment associated with Retail Banking services and productsInternationally recognised risk, audit or relevant professional qualificationsDemonstrated ability in building strong customer relationships based on credibility, rapport and trustWorking with us meansWhether youre passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career here is for you.
