We represent top-tier Chinese, Korean and Euro manufacturers and work with customers across Australia. Our technical team is expanding, and were looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support machinery installations and service.The RoleThis full-time role involves machinery installation, preventative maintenance, and customer support. Youll be working across Australia delivering hands-on service for fiber lasers, CNC machines, and automation systems. Ideal for a technician or engineer with a strong understanding of mechatronics, optics, and industrial control.Responsibilities:Install and commission CNC and fiber laser machineryDiagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, and optical systemsPerform preventative maintenance and emergency calloutsConfigure and troubleshoot protocols: EtherCAT, PROFINET, DeviceNetProvide on-site technical support and customer trainingDocument work reports and contribute to process improvementsWhat Youll Need:Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years experience servicing CNC or laser systemsHands-on skills in diagnostics and repairExperience with fiber lasers (e.g. IPG, Raycus, BOCI) preferredStrong communication and customer service abilityWillingness to travel (interstate) and valid drivers licenceWhat We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience with work Ute, Phone, Laptop, Tools, Fuel Card, Tolls.Work with advanced, high-value equipmentGrowing team with future leadership opportunitiesTraining and development optionsSupportive team culturePromote local employment to your region, community or member organisation with a uWorkin Talent Community.
