This roster is 7:7 with 12-hour days. This role is a residential position within the Parkes local area. About the role Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor, the role will undertake Charge Up activities to ensure smooth operation of our underground development mining operations. Current NSW explosive ticket BUEL Development charging Safe and efficient handling, transport, and storage of explosives and blasting agents Ensure compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures Conduct preparation for blast holes in accordance with site procedures to minimize misfires and improve utilization of explosives Commit to maintaining health, safety, and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the Evolution Mining values. About you Currently reside within the Parkes area or willing to relocate to Parkes. Minimum of twelve (12) months previous experience in a similar position. Blasting Explosive User Licence Working at heights certification Security clearance to handle explosives.
